I turned to him. "I can't find her Ry..."I sobbed even more and lifted myself up from the ground. Shes nowhere! I can't find her. She's not in her room, my room, Melissa's room, Jess's room. She not downstairs.-"

He came over to me and wrapped his arms around me. I hugged him back tightly. I missed his comfort. i missed everything about him, the way he could make me clam down, the calming smell of his cologne.

"Are you sure you checked everywhere?" he asked.

"Yhea I'm sure Ryan why would I be spazzing like this if I knew where she was!?" I yelled at him. I sighed "I'm sorry Ry, I'm just scared. I don't know what to do. She's never done this before."

"It's okay" he said stroking my hair lightly."We'll go look for her. Is there anywhere else she would be?"

"No! she's only two. Where else would she go?"

"I-I just..." He was at a loss of words.

He ran his hand through his hair and sighed.

"Look, I'll drive around and you call whoever you know, kay."

"That would be pointless. How could a two year old sneak out of the house? She can't reach the door knob!"

"So she should still be in the house somewhere...but where."

I sobbed "She's not.... She's never done this before."

"Lets just check her room one more time, kay." He suggested.

I nodded and followed Ryan out the door to Angel's room.

"See I told you she's not here." I whispered. Tears were running down my cheeks. "Ry-" I cried.

He hugged me tight "Look we'll find her, don't cry" He whispered.

By now I was crying uncontrollably.

"That's my baby Ry." *Sob* "I can't loose her. She's my world" I said sobbing. "After you left I never thought I could survive raising a child by myself-" *Sob* "You were everything to me Ry....when you left I..."

But he cut me off by pressing his lips to mine and slowly kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he pulled me closer.
All of a sudden we heard something ruffle under in the room.

"Do you have...rats?" Ryan asked breaking the kiss.

"I don't know.." I wiped the stray tears off my face and smiled with hope. "Angel...?" I called out.

"Baby?" said softer.

Ryan kneeled down next to her bed that she never slept in and lifted the comforters off the ground and there she was... under her bed.

"Oh my Gawd! Angel!" I said happily.

Ryan picked her up and hugged her and swung her around, causing her to giggle. When he finally stopped swinging her around and grabbed her and planted little kisses all over her face and her rosy little cheeks and nose.
"Oh my gawd! baby are you okay!?" I crying in happiness. "Why were you hiding? you almost gave mommy a heart attack."

She frowned a little. "It's my faul-t daddy left and now you don' hava boyfren all a-cause of me and I makes yhew fat." she whispered.

"What!?" Ryan asked confused, just as I was.

"What are you talking about honey?" I asked her.

"Thats what yhew said mommy."

I was hit with realization that I should really watch what I say. I picked her up and brought her to the bed and sat her on my lap.

"Angel...mommy didn't mean that. Sweetie , I love you more than anything. I don't blame you for anything. Mommy was just a little stressed that day, and I said some crazy things. Baby I'm sorry." I gave her a tight hug in which she returned.

"It's okay mommy."

"I love you honey."

"I love you too mommy."

"Hey can I join in on the hugging?" Ryan asked.

I laughed a little "Get over here." I told him.

He made his way towards us and wrapped his arms around us. I have to admit it felt great to hug the two most important people in life at the same time. Ryan looked at me with a loving expression as we hugged our daughter. I can't explain how I felt.

"Alright guys lets go get some cake!" I said.

"And presents!" Angel said.

I laughed at how cute she is. "Yes and presents."

She jumped up in my arms again and hugged me "I love you mommy." she said

"And I love you Angel."

I looked at Ryan and smiled. I couldn't explain the happiness I felt at this moment.

"Alright ladies, shall we proceed?" Ryan asked.

"Yes!" Angel said.

"Great."

I was carrying my my baby down the stairs. I let her climb down while I made my way into the kitchen to get her cake. I pushed open the door and the next thing I know I'm looking Melissa straight in the face. I got so scared and yelled.

"Ahhhhhh!"

Melissa just looked at me weird and screamed back. "Ahhhhhhh! Why are we screaming!"

"Gawd yhews so wired"

"thanks yhew bee bee why." she said being dumb as always.

"I love you dummy." I told her and gave her a huge hug.

"Um are you okay?" she asked.

"Yhea" I said truthfully.

Just then the door bell rung. Then we hear Angel yell "Qwain!"

"No" I changed my answer.
